Madeline (Mighty Maddy) Suy was an incredible young girl with a heart of gold and a smile that lit up every room she entered. She loved singing, dancing, and creating beautiful art that brought happiness to everyone around her. But in November 2020, when Maddy was only six years old, she received the devastating news that she had a rare brain cancer called DIPG.
Despite the tough diagnosis, Maddy faced it with unwavering bravery and positivity. She continued to paint, sing, and spread joy, showing us all that life is precious and meant to be celebrated, no matter what obstacles we encounter. Sadly, on May 19th, 2024, Maddy’s courageous battle came to an end, but her light and legacy will never fade.
Maddy inspired us all with her resilience and zest for life. Her journey touched countless lives, reminding us to cherish the little moments, to be kind to one another, and to never lose hope. Maddy’s story also brought much-needed attention to the importance of supporting children with brain cancer and their families.
